2018 Half Dollar

The US minted the 2018 P half dollar, 2018 D half dollar, 2018 S proof half dollar, and 2018 S silver proof half dollar.

Clad Half Dollars

The standard 2018 clad half dollars in circulated condition are only worth their face value of $0.50. These coins only sell for a premium in uncirculated condition.

Both the 2018 P half dollar and 2018 D half dollar are each worth around $2 in uncirculated condition with an MS 63 grade. Proof coins are worth around $6 in PR 65 condition.

The 2018 S proof half dollar is worth around $5 in PR 65 condition.

Silver Proof Half Dollar

This coin is worth at least its weight in silver. The silver melt value for this coin is $10.68. This melt value is calculated from the current silver spot price of $29.52 per ounce.

The 2018 S silver proof half dollar is worth around $14 in PR 65 condition.

Grading System

MS 63 choice uncirculated- In the major focal areas there are some blemishes or contact marks. The coin's luster might not be as prominent.

PR 65 proof- There are no flaws to this coin. A few blemishes may be present.
